NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion (3-2, 0-1 C-USA) women's basketball fell to FIU (4-3, 1-0 C-USA) in its Conference USA opener on Friday afternoon by a 92-85 score.
The Monarchs led throughout the first three quarters, until the Panthers managed to hold ODU to just 12 points in the final quarter of play and pull ahead.
Junior Amari Young and senior Victoria Morris each compiled 21 points, which led the team in scoring. Young went 9-of-13 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds, while Morris went 6-of-14, draining two triples and grabbed a season-high five boards.
