CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Old Dominion women's basketball team dropped an 87-80 overtime contest on Saturday evening at Charlotte. The Monarchs (6-8, 3-7 C-USA) led for most of the night, but Charlotte (8-7, 7-3) mounted a 6-0 run to tie the score and send the game into overtime.
Junior recorded a career-high 24 points, going 10-of-14 from the floor and 4-for-4 from beyond the arc. She also added a career-high nine boards.
"I pressurized the situation and I really liked the way the team opened up the game," said head coach . "If they have a stretch of games that they're performing well, I need the team to consistently make an intentional effort to bring that every game.
