CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Old Dominion (22-4, 12-2 C-USA) women's basketball team had its 11 game win streak snapped by Charlotte (18-7, 9-5 C-USA) on the road by a 63-59 final score. The game was close throughout, but the 49ers nine field goals in the third quarter was enough to propel them ahead through the finish.
Senior recorded a career-high 29 points, going 12-for-18 from the field.
"I thought our kids battled. A resilient group. We're turning a page," said head coach Nikki McCray. "We talked about rebounding and taking care of the ball.
