NORFOLK, Va. -- Behind a season-best shooting performance, the Old Dominion women's basketball team dominated Coppin State, 81-51, on Saturday afternoon at the Ted Constant Center.
Old Dominion (9-3) shot a season-high 53 percent from the field and 44 percent from three. The 30-point victory was ODU's most lop-sided win since the Monarchs defeated NC Central by 31 in 2016. Defensively, ODU held Coppin State (0-12) to 27 percent shooting.
Ajah Wayne led four Monarchs in double figures with 13 points. Mariah Adams had 11 points, five assists and three blocks, while Maggie Robinson added 12 points and Taylor Edwards had 11 points.
