SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Led by sophomore Jana Melichova, the Old Dominion women's golf team is in a tie for third after two rounds at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational hosted by UTSA.
On the 6,159-yard track at San Antonio Country Club, the Monarchs put together rounds of 305 and 300 on its opening day with two Monarchs in Melichova and Leah Onosato in the top-5. Melichova fired back-to-back rounds of 70, where she currently leads the field in par 3 scoring and par 4 scoring. Onosato opened with a 75 before shooting a one-under 71 to climb the leaderboard.
