NORFOLK, Va. – For the third straight year, the Old Dominion women’s golf team is headed to the NCAA Tournament after receiving an at-large bid on Wednesday evening. The Monarchs were seeded No. 10 in the West Regional, which will be held at Timber Creek Golf Club on May 7-9 hosted by Washington.
72 teams were split among four regional championships. Last season, the Monarchs traveled to Wisconsin for the NCAA Regional, where they took 13th.
After regional competition, 24 teams and 12 individuals will advance to the national championships at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
