GORDONSVILLE, Va. - The Old Dominion women's golf team was defeated by Virginia in match play by a 3-2-0 final. Leah Onosato and Charlotte De Corte picked up wins for the Monarchs on Friday afternoon.
"It was a great day! We really enjoyed the match play format and getting to compete against UVA. It was very competitive and the final score came down to the last hole of the last match," said head coach Mallory Hetzel.
To open the day, Noemie Sudron was defeated by Julia Ford. Onosato won her match 1-up to earn ODU's first win of the day.
