Wilder Named Tom Fergusson Memorial Award Winner

Old Dominion Head Football Coach Bobby Wilder was named the Norfolk Sports Club Tom Fergusson Memorial Award Winner, given to the Metropolitan Sports Person of the Year. Wilder will be honored at the 72nd Annual Norfolk Sports Club Jamboree on March 22.

The first two-time winner of the award, Wilder led Old Dominion to a 10-3 record in 2016 and a 24-20 win over Eastern Michigan in the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl. The game was the first bowl game for the school, as ODU is one of five schools to have a perfect record in bowl games.
