MACON, Ga. -- Katerina Vlasinova finished in third place out of 85 golfers in the field at the Brickyard Collegiate hosted by Mercer University Tuesday. As a team, the Monarchs finished in seventh out of 15 teams.
No. 9 Furman brought home the team title, while No. 21 Texas A&M and No. 42 Augusta finished in a tie for second place. The Monarchs took seventh and finished one stroke ahead of Troy, a team ODU was narrowly defeated by in match play just days ago at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic. No. 59 ODU also finished two slots ahead of 56th-ranked ranked Maryland.
