NORFOLK, Va. - Jennifer Toomy, the head tennis professional at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center at Old Dominion University, was named the 2016 Impact Award winner for the Mid-Atlantic Section (MAS), as announced by the United States Tennis Association’s (USTA).
Toomy garnered the award for her work in the tennis community during the past year. She was one of six award winners announced at USTA Mid-Atlantic’s Annual Conference on November 12, 2016 during the USTA MAS Conference and Awards.
This is the second year USTA MAS has focused awards in the categories of Impact, Inclusion and Innovation, which support the Section’s mission and strategic objectives.
