Two unearned runs in the seventh inning Tuesday helped William & Mary rally for a 4-3 non-conference win over Old Dominion at Plumeri Park.

Great Bridge graduate Luke Krantz started for the Monarchs (10-21) and held the Tribe (14-20) at bay until the fourth, when he was relieved after giving up a run and three hits.

The Monarchs scored all of their runs in the sixth. Andrew Burnick hit Cory Alexander with a bases-loaded pitch, scoring Culver Lamb (Tallwood). Kyle Battle then hit a two-run single off Nick Butts (2-1).

Hunter Gregory (Hickory) relieved Norfolk Academy alum Isaiah Nelson (0-1) in the seventh with two runners on, then walked three straight batters to give the Tribe the lead.
