ATLANTA, Ga. – Sophomore Tara Enneking became the second Old Dominion University women's swimmer to win an event at the Conference USA Championship by winning the 200 IM Thursday night on day one of the C-USA Championships.
A native of Forest, Virginia, Enneking edged out Rice's Nicole Limberg by .02 seconds to win with a time of 2:02.41. Enneking joins Ashley Brem as the only other ODU swimmer to win a swimming event at the C-USA Championships. Brem won the 100 breaststroke in 2018.
"We had a good first day of events with a gold medal from Tara Enneking and multiple season and personal best times from our full team," head coach Jess Livsey said.
