Conference USA will announce later today that it has reached agreements with four television networks, including a potentially groundbreaking agreement with ESPN that could lead to every Old Dominion sports game being televised.
ESPN has agreed, in essence, to replace the Conference USA digital network and broadcast most league contests on ESPN3 – that is, those events not already being televised on conventional networks. That means most ODU sports events, including some football games, would be available internationally to ESPN subscribers, though mainly via streaming devices.
As has been reported, the league will announce agreements with ESPN, the CBS Sports Network, the American Sports Network and beIN Sports.
