NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University sailing competed in a pair of events over the weekend, taking ninth in the Graham Hall Team Race, and 14th at the St. Mary's Interconference.
At the Graham Hall event, ODU went 8-7 with the group of skippers featuring Jeremy Herrin, Dreugh Phillips, Jack Elkin and AJ Jacob, and crew Carter Little, Stephen Guglielmo, Gavin Burkhart and Emily Harrison. The squad defeated Navy, College of Charleston, Cornell, SUNY Maritime, Penn, Merchant Marine Academy and Virginia.
The Monarchs took 14th at St. Mary's, as the Division A squad of Olivia Windemuller and Abigail Tutt took 16th, while Division B featuring Bridget Groble, Hanah Pokorny and Abigail Lockler finished 12th.
