OAK RIDGE, Tenn. -- The Old Dominion women's rowing team placed sixth at the 2016 Big 12 Rowing Championship on Sunday, a two-spot improvement on last year's eighth-place finish.
On a Sunday morning that featured all five finals, ODU recorded a total of four sixth-place finishes. Senior Colleen Rennie, a member of ODU's 1V8, was also named All-Big 12 for the second consecutive year.
Texas swept all five events, winning its second consecutive Big 12 championship and its sixth in the last eight years.
The 3V8 (Dee, Thies, Lamb, Shank, Rivera-Cortes, Gonzalez, Drury, DiMarcantonio, Harris) opened the morning by defeating (7:27.
