NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University senior swimmer Reed Mathews was named the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Swimmer of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
A senior from Denver, Colorado, Mathews won the 100 fly in a time of 49.19 and the 200 fly with a time of 1:50.82.
Mathews holds the ODU record in both events and has already recorded NCAA B-cut times in both events.
Mathews and the Monarchs host George Washington and St. Andrews on Saturday at 2 p.m.
