CLEVELAND, Ohio - Old Dominion wrestler Sa’Derian Perry was named MAC Wrestler of the Week as announced by the league Wednesday afternoon. This is the Monarchs fourth weekly honor as Larry Early (11/21, 12/05) has been named twice and Shane Jones (12/27) was tabbed once.
The 141-pounder went 2-0 on the weekend against two MAC opponents, including one win by major decision and one pin, which added bonus points for the Monarchs in their wins over CMU and NIU on the road. On Friday, Perry won his match by a 12-3 major decision.
