NORFOLK, Va. - Andy Garriola of the Old Dominion baseball team was named the VaSID Rookie of the Year, while Vinnie Pasquantino was named Co-Player of the Year. Bryce Windham also earned All-State honors, as announced by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID).
In addition to Garriola and Pasquantino's honors and First Team selections, Windham landed on the All-State Second Team.
The VaSID Rookie of the year hit .328 with 19 doubles, 62 RBIs and 10 home runs. His 62 RBIs are an ODU freshman record and the most by any Monarch since 2011. Garriola also picked up All-C-USA First Team All-Conference honors.
