Old Dominion’s Natalie Johnson was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week after accounting for five points in two games.
In the Monarchs’ 2-0 victory at Texas-San Antonio on Thursday, Johnson had a hand in both goals, dishing out an assist and finding the back of the net midway through the second half.
The Monarchs extended their unbeaten streak to six with Sunday night’s 2-all draw at Texas-El Paso. Johnson, a redshirt senior from North Carolina, scored her third goal of the season to give ODU an early one-goal lead. She had a team-high eight shots in the contest.
