NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's tennis team (2-5) took down William & Mary (1-1) by a 5-2 score on Sunday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. After dropping the doubles point, the Monarchs claimed victory in five of the six singles matches.
Picking up wins in singles play for ODU were Oliver Tobisch (6-2, 6-4), Jannik Giesse (6-4, 7-5), Luca Maldoner (7-5, 7-5), Lounes Lalami (7-5, 7-6) and Tomislav Podvinski (6-3, 6-7, 10-7).
"I am super proud of how we responded after losing the doubles point," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller.
