NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion baseball team broke its three-game losing streak with a 7-1 victory over old CAA rival William & Mary on Wednesday night at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex. The win marked the Monarchs 20th of the season, as ODU now holds a 20-10 overall record.
Nick Walker led the way with a 2-for-2 outing with two runs and one RBI. Turner Bishop also went 1-for-3, which included a double and a team leading 2 RBIs. Nick Hartman earned the win after pitching a spotless three innings. After facing nine batters, Hartman fanned four and forced three fly outs and two groundouts.
