NORFOLK, Va. – Despite outshooting the Thundering Herd 14-3 for the match, the Old Dominion women’s soccer team (3-6-2, 0-3-0 C-USA) dropped a 1-0 decision to Marshall (5-4-2, 3-1-0 C-USA) on Friday night at the ODU Soccer Complex.
The Monarchs held a 5-1 advantage for shots after the opening 45 minutes of scoreless soccer.
Marah Abu-Tayeh gave Marshall a 1-0 lead in the 77th minute off an assist from Rene Ross.
