IRVING, Texas — Old Dominion sophomore Ryne Moore was named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week after his seven-inning shutout of Charlotte, the league announced Monday.
The Pennsylvania native upped his record to 4-0 and carries a 2.10 ERA after the Monarchs’ 10-0 win Sunday. He allowed four hits, striking out seven and walking one. The shutout was the first of his career.
Moore’s ERA is 0.69 over his last four starts, a stretch in which he struck out 27 and walked three over 26 innings.
