Old Dominion’s Andy Garriola was named the Conference USA Freshman of the Year as six Monarchs earned All-C-USA baseball honors on Tuesday.
Garriola hit .326 with 18 doubles, 10 home runs and 61 RBIs, leading the league in all four categories. His RBI total was also an ODU freshman record and the most by any Monarch since 2011.
Garriola and Vinnie Pasquantino made the first team, while Bryce Windham, Ryne Moore and Hunter Gregory landed on the second team. Garriola and Ryan Teschko were named to the All-Freshman team.
