Larry Early and Antonio Agee posted second-place finishes as the Old Dominion wrestling team opened its season Sunday at the Princeton Open.
Early won four matches by a 33-10 margin at 157 pounds but fell to Mike D’Angelo of New Jersey Regional Training Center 6-2 in the final.
Agee conceded just five points during three straight wins at 184 pounds before falling to Princeton’s Kevin Park in the championship match.
Heavyweight Ali Wahab fell in his opening bout but reeled of four straight wins to finish fifth.
