Buffalo scored bonus-point victories in the first two matches Friday night and went on to defeat Old Dominion 22-14 in Mid-American Conference wrestling at the Constant Center.
ODU’s Jack Dechow, ranked ninth nationally, and Michael Hayes earned major decisions at 184 and 149 pounds, while Kevin Budock (141 pounds) and Antonio Agee (174) won in overtime for the Monarchs (4-7, 1-4). Hayes' victory came against Colt Cotton, ranked No. 29 in the country.
ODU hosts Duke at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
