ODU Tops William & Mary, 2-1, for Fourth Straight Win

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- A late goal from senior Casey Dolan lifted the No. 15 ODU field hockey team past William & Mary, 2-1, Sunday afternoon in Williamsburg. The Lady Monarchs, now 4-1, 0-0 BIG EAST, have won four straight games while William & Mary fell to 1-4, 0-0 (CAA).

"It was a better performance today to improve from Friday's game," head coach Andrew Griffiths said. "William & Mary played a good style of possession hockey and has some talented players. We made it tough on ourselves by not executing on our penalty corners, which would have given us some breathing room.
