FAIRFAX, Va. - Despite Old Dominion (2-1-2) outshooting George Mason (2-2-0) 16-8 for the match, the Monarchs fell by a 2-1 score on Thursday night at George Mason Stadium. The loss was the first of the 2018 season for Old Dominion.
“I was really pleased with our performance tonight,” said ODU head coach Angie Hind. “We scored a deserving goal off a set-play; it was a great first half and we played with good intensity. The penalty let them back in the game. And then to lose a goal over something somewhat out of our control is frustrating.
