NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion University spirit squad will host a pair of clinics in the coming months. The first clinic will be on Feb. 23 and the second on March 7.
The initial clinic on Feb. 23 will be held in the ODU Student Recreation Center and will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is for ages 6-12. The participants will learn about cheers, chants and dance and they will learn from the ODU coaching staff and cheerleaders.
"Our youth camp is designed for kids who want to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading," ODU Cheer Coach Tara Lynne Cannon said.
