NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY/AP) — David Washington threw for three touchdowns and Old Dominion led all the way to beat Marshall 38-14 on Saturday night.
The victory means the Monarchs have become bowl eligible for the first time since moving up to FBS.
“Finally, ever since the transition three years ago, not really being in a conference for the CAA and then the transition year and then last year it’s been rough, but now I’m just happy,” David Washington said.
Washington had 199 yards passing for the Monarchs (6-3, 4-1 Conference USA).
