NORFOLK (WAVY) — After major reconstructive surgery on his knee and 10 months of rehab, Old Dominion quarterback David Washington finally saw live game action this past weekend against Hampton and he was impressive, throwing four touchdown to four different players.
“I was really pleased with David’s decision making, how he threw the ball,” coach Bobby Wilder said. “He had a couple of situations where he could have forced things in there but he didn’t.”
That was the good. Now the bad.
“What I was disappointed in, and why I pulled him before half time was he had already tried to run someone over to score a touchdown,” Wilder said.
