NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (8-3-2, 2-3-0 C-USA) overcame two deficits to defeat Middle Tennessee (5-7-1, 2-2-1 CUSA) by 3-2 score in the first overtime session on Friday night at the ODU Soccer Complex.
In the 10th minute, Hannah Tillett converted a penalty kick to give the Blue Raiders an early 1-0 advantage.
ODU answered in the 24th minute, when Talia Tapper finished a Kyra Ricks pass to tie the match at 1-1. Old Dominion outshot MT 12-2 in the opening 45 minutes of play.
Middle Tennessee took a 2-1 lead in the 70th minute off a Peyton DePriest goal.
