NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team improved to 3-0 for the spring season after taking down Loyola by a 2-0 score. The Monarchs have now outscored their opponents 10-0 in their three spring games this season.
On a 75-degree day at the ODU Soccer Complex and the Monarch Soccer Sisters program on hand, Old Dominion scored its first goal in the 22nd minute, when Allie Brimmer picked a pass off in the ODU half and played a through ball for Kyra Ricks to spring the counter. Ricks ran around the last Loyola defender and got to the ball just before the onrushing opposing goalkeeper.
