Kostas Mylonas scored twice as Old Dominion shut out Alabama-Birmingham 2-0 on Sunday in a Conference USA men's soccer match-up.
ODU goalie Mertcan Akar stopped four shots to earn his fourth shutout of the season.
Mylonas scored on a header from a corner in the 35th minute, then tallied two minutes later off an assist from Max Wilschrey and Niko Klosterhalfen.
The Monarchs (9-3-2, 5-1-0) haven’t lost since a Sept. 29 defeat at Marshall. They host Florida International at 7 p.m. next Sunday in their penultimate regular-season game.
