BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Matt Burch went 4 for 6 with four RBIs and Bryce Windham went 5 for 5 with three RBIs as Old Dominion routed Western Kentucky 15-1 on Thursday night to clinch a bid to next week's Conference USA tournament.
The Monarchs (34-18, 15-13) collected a season-high 23 hits in winning their sixth straight.
Tommy Bell went 4 for 5 for ODU, while Andy Garriola, Kyle Battle, Matt Schwarz and Jared Hancock each had two hits.
Monarchs starter Tommy Gertner (2-0) picked up the victory, allowing one run on two hits in four innings.
