RICHMOND, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (4-0-1) remained unbeaten as it took down VCU (4-1-1) by a 4-3 score on Sunday night at Sports Backers Stadium. Sunday’s match experienced a total of three ties and two lead changes. The Monarchs extended their regular season unbeaten streak to 12 (dating back to the 2018 season), as ODU is 9-0-3 in its last 12 regular season matches.
“That was a very typical game that we have always had against VCU,” said ODU head coach Angie Hind. “They are a quality side and we had to work really hard together today to get this result.
