NEW HAVEN, Conn. – In its first road match of the season, the Old Dominion men's tennis team (10-1) downed Yale (2-5) by a 4-0 score at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center on Friday afternoon. With the victory, Old Dominion extended its win streak to seven and has outscored its opponents 51-11 so far this season.
"It's good to get our first true road win under our belt," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "Yale came out playing high quality tennis and pushed us in every spot. You could expect some rust after not playing a match for two weeks, but I think we got that off and are ready for a top 25 team on the road tomorrow.
