EL PASO, Texas - The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (7-6-4, 4-3-2 C-USA) played UTEP (7-8-3, 2-5-2 C-USA) to a 2-2 double-overtime draw at University Field on Sunday night. The Monarchs extended their unbeaten streak to six, as their last loss came on Sept. 28th. Sunday marked ODU’s seventh overtime match of the season.
In the fifth minute, Natalie Johnson scored her third goal of the season off a pass from Talia Tapper (second assist of the season) to give the Monarchs an early 1-0 lead.
Anna Jimmerson finished a Cayla Payne cross to tie the match for the Miners in the 26th minute, 1-1.
