BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (8-3-4, 2-3-2 C-USA) played UAB (4-5-5, 2-3-2 C-USA) to a 2-2 draw after 110 minutes at BBVA Field on Sunday afternoon. With the result, the Monarchs extended their unbeaten streak to four consecutive matches.
In the 10th minute, Amanda Nhek played in a short cross to Talia Tapper, in which Tapper one-timed into the back of the Blazers’ net, giving ODU an early 1-0 lead, which they would take with them into the locker rooms at halftime. The goal was Tapper’s third of the season.
