CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In the 2019 regular season finale, the Old Dominion women’s soccer team (10-4-4, 4-4-2 C-USA) took down Charlotte (12-5-0, 7-3-0 C-USA) by a 1-0 score on Friday night at Transamerica Field. ODU outshot Charlotte 15-3 in the second half. The win marked Old Dominion’s 10th victory of the season, a program high under head coach Angie Hind.
Emma Gervase drilled the pill into the back of the 49ers net off a free kick in the 17th minute to give the Monarchs an early 1-0 lead, one in which they would hold onto for the rest of the first half.
