ODU commits five errors, loses 4-3 to West Virginia in non-conference baseball

West Virginia scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the eighth inning Friday to take the lead in a 4-3 non-conference college baseball victory over Old Dominion at Monongalia County Ballpark.

The Monarchs took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on Jason McMurray's run-scoring double and an RBI single by Turner Bishop (Kellam). ODU didn't score again until the ninth, but had runners on second and third with two outs in the third and sixth innings.

West Virginia (8-3) tied it with two runs in the sixth before pulling ahead in the eighth.
