Because Old Dominion University places top priority on the health and safety of its community, the University decided today to extend spring break for one week, and suspend in-person classes and move them online for the immediate future.
Athletics events will continue with restrictions. For indoor tennis, only family members and essential staff will be permitted to attend home matches. For outdoor events including baseball, tennis and lacrosse, family members, essential staff and a limited number of fans will be permitted to attend home games. Each venue will be monitored to insure that fans can adhere to the CDC recommendations regarding social distancing.
