NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion baseball team will take to the field on Tuesday against the VMI Keydets for the third time this season, this time in Lexington, Va. for a 6 p.m. start. The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
The meeting between these two teams marks the 56th all-time meeting and the third of the 2016 season. ODU defeated the Keydets twice in Norfolk, 8-2 and 6-5, putting its series lead to 44-11. The two wins also moved the Monarchs winning streak over VMI to five straight games. Under head coach Chris Finwood, Old Dominion is 12-1 over his alma mater.
