MOBILE, Ala. – The No. 61 Old Dominion women’s team (10-5) won four of six singles matches against Miami (Ohio) to claim a 4-3 victory on Friday afternoon at the University of South Alabama's Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts. The Lady Tennis Monarchs have now won three in a row, as well as nine of their last 11 matches.
The Redhawks (5-8) jumped out to an early 1-0 advantage after claiming the doubles point. The Lady Tennis Monarchs responded with three straight-sets victories in the singles competition, picking up wins at the first, second, fifth and sixth-flights.
