EUGENE, Ore. - The No. 50 nationally ranked Old Dominion men's tennis team improved to 11-2 on the season after taking down New Mexico (5-7) by a 4-1 score on Saturday night. The Monarchs have now won eight of its last nine matches.
"We have a lot of respect for New Mexico and their coaching staff," explained ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "They played with a lot of intensity and took the doubles away from us after we had a commanding lead. Great job from our guys to refocus for singles and getting four points on the board.
