GORDONSVILLE, Va. – The No. 48 Old Dominion women's golf team finished ahead of in-state rival Richmond on Friday afternoon in a tri-match at Spring Creek. ODU compiled a 304 (+16) on the 6,209-yard track, hosted by No. 10 Virginia.
"We were excited to be back competing again in our home state. Spring Creek is a championship caliber golf course and the cold, windy conditions made it a really tough," said ODU head coach Mallory Hetzel. "We played well the majority of the day and with just a few shots giving us a little trouble.
