NORFOLK, Va. - The No. 45 Old Dominion women’s tennis team improved to 14-4 on the season after defeating Middle Tennessee (12-5) by a 7-0 score on Sunday at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. For the second straight match, ODU didn’t drop a set in singles. The Tennis Monarchs are now 4-0 against Conference USA opponents this season.
“What a great performance by our team today,” said ODU head coach Dominic Manilla. “The confidence and relentless effort put forth from start to finish was inspiring. Todays result was merely a symptom of the work the team has put in all year long.
