NORFOLK, Va. – In the regular season finale, the No. 34 nationally ranked Old Dominion men’s tennis team (16-6) took down William & Mary (10-9) by a 4-3 score on Sunday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. After dropping the doubles point, the Monarchs clinched the victory with a 4-1 score, but continued to play out the two remaining singles matches.
“First of all, I’m so happy for our seniors to defend home court on their last home match,” said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. “We had an amazing crowd and I think some guys pressed too hard in some critical moments.
