NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team improved to 11-2 on the season after taking down West Virginia (6-3) by a 6-1 score on Sunday morning at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. In a matter of 48 hours, the #Monarchs defeated Memphis and West Virginia by a combined score of 13-1.
The Tennis Monarchs have won three straight, are 8-0 at home so far this season and have won eight of its last nine matches.
After claiming the doubles point, ODU won four of its five singles matches in straight sets.
No. 29 Old Dominion will return to action on Friday, March 8, when the Monarchs will take on North Texas in Denton, Texas.
