SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The No. 22 Old Dominion baseball team dropped a pair of Conference contests to UTSA on Saturday evening. The Monarchs were edged, 12-10 in game one and were shutout, 11-0 in the second contest at Roadrunner Field.
"It was a tough day for us," expressed ODU head coach Chris Finwood. "We didn't pitch or play good defense at all. UTSA is a very tough offensive team and they swung the bats well. We gave them too many extra outs. This is a tough place to play and we have to regroup and come out ready to play tomorrow.
